Python Job: Software Engineer

Metal Biz Recyclers is one of the leading metal recycling companies in QLD with three branches across Brisbane. We are looking for experienced Software Engineer to support our team based at Rocklea.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requires access and solving of moderately complex problems. May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• Requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Analysis, design, coding, testing, and operational support of custom software applications.
• Collaborate with company directors/decision makers and deliver your R&D outcome.
• Experience with automotive/recycling industry is highly favorable.
• Provide solutions to our existing problems.
• Work towards integrating our ERP system with our other services.
• Participate in identifying performance issues.
• Participate in design meetings, code reviews and bug fixing.
• Good command on different programming languages to excel projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors in IT or closely relevant degree
PREFERRED SKILLS

• API integrations
• Worked with web applications
• Good command over Laravel, JavaScript, PHP and Python.

Salary: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
